Haruki Murakami's novel "The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle" (1994-95) is a mind-expanding work of fiction. I first read it while in film school, and being tasked to create a two-minute experimental animation based on a novel, I chose to adapt "The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle". This film is composed of the images that stuck with me from my experience reading that incredible book.
